Organization -Snacks
My home is the one on the
block where all the kids hang out. It's all boys all the time. They are loud,
messy, and hungry. I'm happy to have my home be a safe space for them to
be kids, and I want them all to feel like they are at home in my home. This is
why I have a snack cabinet. One entire cabinet is filled with snacks:
granola bars, fruit cups, gummy bars, candy, chips, crackers, mini muffins,
etc. The kids all know they can grab something if they are hungry. I keep
my cabinet organized with these helpful dividers.

things that may work for your family:

- A bowl of fruit on the counter.
- Some moms have a drawer in their fridge for snacks.
Do what works for
your home and what you can afford. Setting limits with the kids, like one
fruit snack each, is okay. It's also okay to tell them that If they are still
hungry after their snack, they need to go home for dinner, and they can come
back to play when they're done.
